Peaceful and far from the crowds, the Cirque de Prévourey invites you to take your time, relax, and soak in an exceptional natural setting. The Louvet cabin and the small nearby lake complete this unforgettable mountain landscape.

A short 50-meter technical section:
The path narrows over rocky terrain, with a fixed cable to assist your balance and ensure safety.

Important!
You are in a protected natural area. Please stay on the marked trails, keep your dog on a leash, do not light fires, and carry out your waste to the nearest bins. Respecting and preserving this environment is essential!

Delicate passages : 50 meters of technical passage. On the rocky section, the path is quite narrow and a fixed cable is available for support.

Admission fee : Free access.

Opening : From 01/05 to 30/11. Depending on the snow cover.

Step by step description : From the tourist office of Alpe du Grand-Serre, take the Waterfall direction. At the waterfall, take a small path on the left of the sawmill and keep on the way to Prévourey hut. Then continue on a flat path that leads you step by step in the Louvet Cirque. At the Cirque entrance, walk up left side to the Prévourey hut. It is a shepherd hut with a continuous flow water basin. Keep above the hut and turn right on a trail. 100m further, you will discover the Prevourey small lake with the surrounded mountains reflections on the surface. Keeping on to the end of Cirque, you will discover the waterfall that flows from the Brouffier lake.
